We, the District Council of Coober Pedy, invite you to keep our city clean by exchanging your recyclable materials such as cardboards, plastic, or aluminum in exchange for a lottery ticket for a chance to win a variety of prizes!
Our Services
Cardboard
Shipping boxes, food boxes, paperboard, paper bags, newspaper, writing paper, and chipboard are accepted.
Exchange 2 kg for 1 entry
Plastic
Water bottles, soda bottles, milk jugs, detergent bottles, grocery bags, straws, and cups are accepted
Exchange 2 kg for 1 entry
Aluminum
Soda cans, beer cans, energy drink cans, canned food containers, aluminum foil trays, and foil wraps are accepted
Exchange 2.5kg for 1 entry
More about us
We take the separated recycling materials and compact them into bales. Once the storage is full, the bales are sent to Adelaide to be further processed there.
Every single month, there will be 5 winners drawn. Prizes can range from electronics to utility cuts.
